This is Alexis - the founder of Living by Intention. She began her business with a mission to help raise the health standard of her community through introducing the concept of quality nutrients in all forms. She recognized a need to assist her community in combatting Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Disease, Obesity, IBS, Crohn’s Disease, Various Cancers, Arthritis, as well as Degenerative Brain Diseases such as Alzheimer’s & Dementia, Menstrual Cycle Imbalances, Hormonal imbalances & more.

She found that by cooking with organic whole foods, having a strong discipline around the quality of what she consumes, along with a consistent movement practice - disease prevention, maintenance and healing can occur!

As a Private Holistic Chef & Food/Movement Educator, she strives to only serve her community and clients quality with zero exceptions when it comes down to what’s in the food & what it is cooked with.

Everything she cooks is harvested locally by her from gardener’s that grow their food organically without pesticides, bought from the Farmer’s Market, or from local health food stores!

She is an Indigenous chef, focusing on the true practices of her ancestors (Black & Native American) - cooking seasonally and without any chemicals, additives, or preservatives - aka - whole food plant based.

She specializes in serving people that have specific dietary needs and allergies. Alexis also does not cook with any of the following:

  • Gluten

  • Dairy

  • Refined Sugar

  • Inflammatory Veggie Oils (Canola, Vegetable, Sunflower, GMO/Non Organic)
